Lindsey has been researching family history in England for over 30 years. She was born and raised in London, England, moving to the United States at age 19. As a native Englishwoman, she spends her research time for her clients, and for herself, immersed in English records.
Lindsey is able to make annual trips to her native land for onsite research. She has spent many hours in the National Archives, Society of Genealogists and many local archives around England and is familiar with local family history societies and organizations throughout England. With many generations of ancestors in London, research in London is a major focus for Lindsey.
Seven years as a volunteer at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City has allowed her to develop a considerable knowledge of the records and resources for English research available there. This experience has also helped her to experience working with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions to their family history challenges.
In April 2012 Lindsey completed the requirements for accreditation (England). She is now teaching research skills, conducting research and continuing to keep updated on new and innovative research opportunities in English research.
