Jessica Taylor

Jessica Taylor has loved logic puzzles since childhood and now enjoys similar puzzles in her work as a professional genealogist. Jessica earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Family History - Genealogy from Brigham Young University; her studies included an internship at the Family History Library and an in-depth study of LDS records. Her areas of expertise are: English research, including reading old handwriting and Latin records; Midwest U.S. and New England; and early LDS genealogy and history. She is also fluent in Portuguese, reads Spanish, and is “fluent” in using Personal Ancestral File and TempleReady.

Before becoming a full-time professional genealogist, Jessica worked for the LDS Church in the Family History Library. She now loves the thrill of putting pieces together and solving difficult genealogy problems.
