Mindy Lunt

Mindy Lunt graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Family History and Genealogy. Her studies were focused on Scandinavian research and included two years learning Danish. She also spent time as an intern at the Family History Library where she often helped patrons with research questions at the Scandinavian reference desk. Mindy’s favorite part of Scandinavian research is reading the Gothic script.
In addition to her love for Scandinavian research, Mindy enjoys studying the history of the LDS colonies in northern Mexico. She is currently employed as a genealogist at the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation where she has worked for over two years.
Her areas of expertise include Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and research with DNA.
